Operations Manager

Job description

Due to the continuing growth of our development team, our administrative office needs reinforcements. We are looking for someone with experience in the field of administration, organization, designing processes, and administrative project management.

Airnamics is a young development company, developing and implementing state-of-the-art robotics systems. We are an interdisciplinary team, joining electronics developers, programmers, robotics developers, mechanical engineers, and software developers under one roof.

The administrative process which ensures seamless work and support of the development team does call for a little bit of an interest in the subject of technology(ies), but is not a requirement. We are looking for someone with a strong background in professional communication (Slovene as well as English), knowledge of project management principles, processes optimization, and which culminates in a strong love for ticking tasks off the list. No worries, you won’t be bored and will get plenty of opportunities to learn awesome new stuff. Our offices are located in Ljubljana, Vič, near Dolgi most.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overview and optimization of existing administration processes (task resolution, digital archiving, digital signatures systems, etc.).

  • Setting up a comprehensive system for effective and lean company administration.

  • Carrying out smaller administrative projects and research for services.

  • Preparation of financial reports, cost planning and monitoring.

  • Cooperation with management on carrying out the best lean operations practices.

  • Cooperation with HR in HR Administration optimization.

  • Cooperation with outside accounting for invoice management and fulfilling financial and tax obligations.

  • Other administrative tasks connected with regular operations of a development company.

Job requirements

You will need to be experienced or have knowledge in:

  • Accounting, tax legislation, and basic company management processes.

  • Finances management & love for Excel (or Google Spreadsheets).

  • Education of at least a Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, management, or economy.

  • Proficient in English and Slovene business communication.

  • Affinity for organization and project management principles.

  • At least 3 years of experience at a similar workplace. The company will grow and develop in the future, so we need someone who is willing to spread their wings with us and carve their expertise.

Big picture view, you are our type of a person if:

  • You are used to organizing your work, setting daily priorities, and communicating and coordinating work with other team members and outside partners and stakeholders.

  • You are no stranger to various digital tools and applications, or, better yet, have no problem diving in and mastering them (knowing anything about Jira is an advantage, or knowing about Kanban principles).

  • You value efficiency, good organization, and time management.

  • You want to see your ideas become a reality. You know that ‘he who works will err’, but still give it your best every time. You take pride in your work and always aim to do your best work.

  • You are interested in technology and can’t wait to take a look at what our team is developing.

  • You have the ambition to be part of something big. You will be joining a team where this is not just a job, but a mission to master productivity, flexibility, and humanity in manufacturing. Depending on your wishes and vision, the workplace can grow with you. The direction is up to you.

What do we offer?

  • We dedicate a lot of attention to the expert and personal development of our team members. Whichever field you’ll dive into, or will see you need to develop in, we’ll be right with you, making sure you get the resources you need to grow.

  • Great coworkers, healthy snacks, Domačica cookies, and coffee.

  • Development and education fund,

  • Remote work when you need it and flexible working hours.
